Welcome to Dissociative Identity Disorder Support Group:
We are private support group that focuses on dissociative identity disorders, including providing information such as - causes of dissociative identity disorders, symptoms of dissociative identity disorder, and treatment options for folks struggling with dissociative identity disorders. Members seriously discuss the effects of childhood trauma and abuse that often lead to a diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder. Here, we share with and support each other as we travel the difficult road toward healing. All forums are broken down into sub-forum based on topics all related to dissociative identity disorder, such as: coping with dissociative identity disorder, daily living with dissociative identity disorder, eating disorders, depression, self-injury; sexual, physical, emotional, and ritual abuse/ mind control and spiritual healing. Alters may create individual profiles and participate on any area of the board where each have access.
Our mission is to provide a safe and unique learning environment where folks who have dissociative identity disorder - DID - meet, share, support, and openly discuss issues that come up in daily living for those struggling with symptoms of dissociative identity disorder. Achieving our mission requires cooperative collaboration amongst members and administrators. Members' posts remain appropriate and relevant to topics. Adequate guidelines are clearly posted to help members maintain the dignity of the board. Each member has a deep regard for how folks might react to what is written. Staff regularly monitors posts and replies to ensure the board remains a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Members respect and validate each other as unique and significant.
