DISSOCIATIVE
IDENTITY SUPPORT GROUP
MESSAGE BOARD AND CHAT
As you may have noticed, access to our community is designed differently than most private groups.
When you visited our board, you will have noticed that most of the board is visible to guests, except private posts (at members' request), giving you the opportunity to read what to expect before applying. Having the board set up in this way does have disadvantages. It may seem at a glance that the board has been inactive. Please attend to the bottom statistics, and you will see that the board is very active averaging about 200 posts per day.
Members of this community are compassionate, knowledgeable, and supportive. Discussion is 'open', free of censorship, but not to the point of being triggering or disrespectful. Respect and validation of each others' reaction to posts are practiced.
Members here are serious about healing, relating to each others' struggles - often creating lasting friendships. No posts from this board are fed into search engines such as google or Yahoo - as you will find they are on any open boards. If you have read the open sections of our board and feel that you would benefit from this community, please feel free to apply.
Our application process:
Our application process also differs from other private boards. Just read the questions below and post the answers Administrators will see the post.
This process allows for us to keep the board open for view, but also allows members the privacy they request. If you have any questions or comments, please contact the owner, which you will find on the sideboard of our board. Just click the image, and you will find her private profile and mailbox.
Click "Add Reply" button below this box, then simply answer each in as much detail as you can. Click the "Post" button. A screen will come up saying that the post is submitted but confidential. You are done, and administrators will review the information and get back to you promptly as we can through your email.

(If new to Yuku Community, bookmark this page (or our board). When you click on Add Reply here, a box will pop up asking for your user name and password. Above that, you will see a link "Join Now". Click that and follow the instruction to create your Yuku account. Before you can use this account, you will need to wait for an email from Yuku telling you how to 'validate' your email. Click that email and follow through. It will say "Congratulations - welcome to Yuku - something like that. Then, return here and complete the application for our group.
Remember to login with your user name at the top of the board.
If you are a returning member using a different profile name, please apply in that forum. We will not approve any applicants who we believe are using alter profiles to gain access to our board deceitfully. If you know anyone here and would like to participate, but remain anonymous, that is acceptable, with the owner's knowledge. All information gained from applications is confidential.
This is a place where my main concern is safety for the sake of all members - and application reviews are based on this one concept.
Thank you for you patience.
